Reconnect with your aliveness

Welcome to my website.

Find your way back to trust, aliveness, and presence in your life. Body-centered work supports you in reconnecting with your own wisdom - learning to listen to what your body knows alongside what your mind understands.

You're invited to explore what you hold, to ground in your experience, to be authentic. To discover your "yes" to life and also your "no". The work isn't about becoming someone new - it's about reconnecting with who you've always been.

How I can support you

Sometimes we need support to go into the darker rooms we've been avoiding - to feel what needs to be felt, release what's ready to be released, and reconnect with our capacity for genuine aliveness.

I work with people who know their story but want to actually feel different. We explore what your body holds through trauma-informed, body-centered work that integrates both your thoughts and your physical experience.

What shifts:

  • Chronic patterns lose their grip

  • You reconnect with your body's wisdom

  • Old tension begins to release

  • You discover what aliveness actually feels like in your system

Sessions are available within days, both in-person in Cazenovia and online.

About

I'm Katherine Kaufmann, and I've spent the last 5 years supporting people through the deeper work of reconnecting with themselves.

After practicing as a licensed practitioner of psychotherapy in Germany, I've relocated to upstate New York where I continue this work as a trauma-informed somatic coach. I'm a NARM Practitioner and Teaching Assistant, trained in approaches that work with both mind and body.

My background as a professional dancer taught me that the body holds what words can't always reach. This work honors that - meeting you where insight ends and embodied change begins.

Do not be dismayed by the brokenness of the world. All things break. And all things can be mended. Not with time, as they say, but with intention.
So go. Love intentionally, extravagantly, unconditionally. The broken world waits in darkness for the light that is you.
